Since 2008, we have set the benchmark in truly all-inclusive, luxury five-star river cruises in Europe and Southeast Asia. In 2019, we introduced Scenic Eclipse, The World’s First Discovery Yacht, a 228-guest ultra-luxury ship, and our second yacht, Scenic Eclipse II, in April 2023, taking guests to all four corners of the globe.

Airbus Helicopters

Our Scenic Eclipse Airbus helicopter fleet is equipped with cutting edge technology and state-of-the-art functionality that allows guests to safely reach ultra-exclusive vantage points, providing unrivaled views of the planet's awe-inspiring landscape.

Features include Bose noise-cancelling headsets, five cameras fitted to the interior and exterior of the helicopter (which provides guests with flight footage), premium, custom leather seats and interior, as well as a Bluetooth audio system for in-flight music.

During your flight, outstanding visibility is provided by the large wrap-around windscreen and wide windows. Those facing forward will have incredible views, as will those seated in the rear position, thanks to a raised 'theater-style' platform. Your enjoyment and comfort is our number one priority on our helicopter excursions.

Our Scenic Discovery excursions, which take guests on exploratory guided tours on board Zodiacs, kayaks and e-bikes, allow for a full adventure experience like nothing else. Named after evolutionist Charles Darwin, this tropical city on the top end of Australia is a former frontier town with a rough-and-tumble past. Darwin's growth was achieved back in 1871 with the discovery of gold at Pine Creek, and today a number of historic buildings from that era remain. Darwin is also the center of the aboriginal community, the world's oldest culture. From here, you can visit Kakadu National Park, a World Heritage Site renowned not only for its Australian wildlife but Aboriginal rock art.

Cape York, Australia

Cape York is located at the tip of a peninsula of the same name. This peninsula is one of the world's last wilderness frontiers. It measures some 11 million hectares in size, and extends 1000 km north of Cairns to Cape York, at the tip, which extends out beyond the islands of the Torres Strait.

Cape York only has two seasons, 'wet' and 'dry'. The wet season causes the riverbanks to overflow resulting in flooded marshlands and wondering crocodiles, so the best time to trek this land is during the dry season between the months of May and November. Even during the dry season you are going to want to stay with your guide.

Your guide will show you the sites with ease. With your guides' leadership you will be lead to lazy lagoons covered, with lilies, which you can relax by; crystal clear creeks and rivers you can swim in; and beautifully pristine waterfalls you can walk under. Make sure to carry your camera because these sites include elusive barramundi fish and other animals that you are not likely to naturally see anywhere else.

Cooktown, Australia

During his travels in the Pacific, Captain Cook "discovered" this oldest part of Queensland over 200 years ago. Cooktown was once the destination for the ambitious miners who joined the gold rush of the 1870s. Today, one can get a glimpse into the area's historic past by visiting the museum and wandering around this quaint town. Adverture-seekers will enjoy a crocodile river cruise and a chance to explore the real "wild west" of the Australian outback.

The Great Barrier Reef city of Cairns is the northernmost city of Queensland and is located amidst endless stretches of white sandy beach, attracting visitors from around the world.
